If you're looking for an inspirational spot in the midst of nature but don't want to give up modern amenities, Little Peggy's Cove is the place to be. We stayed for about 5 weeks in late summer/early Fall. The cottage is about 35 minutes' drive from the historic and picturesque village of Sherbrooke, mostly down a gravel road through pine forest and brushland. The site is secluded and quiet, save for the lapping of the Atlantic on the rocks below the oceanside deck. From there we watched the rising sun spread across the water. Otters and seals played in the waves. The house is fully and thoughtfully appointed, with very comfortable furnishings and everything a gourmet chef might need in the kitchen. Even Hurricane Lee could not deter our off-grid power supply or the very strong satellite wi-fi. Our local hosts were very welcoming and generous, and always available—as was the property manager. We cannot recommend Little Peggy's Cove highly enough: 5 stars out of 5.

what a wonderful, wonderful place. The deck and all the seating lovely, the views spectacular and breathtaking
The cottage itself was super clean, bright and open.
Highly recommend and the whole family wants to stay again!

Peaceful, quiet and the perfect natural escape from work life. Little Peggy’s Cove has all the amenities of home while set in the beautiful background of the rugged eastern shore of Nova Scotia. Our hosts were attentive and made us feel very welcome.

This was exactly what we were hoping to see! Waves crashing and breathtaking views! The neighbours were extremely helpful, and welcoming! They came over to welcome us and really made our trip! The kids loved skipping on the rocks and exploring the rocky beach next door. There is a beautiful sandy beach about an hour away at Port Hilford. Would like to make it back here one day!

Little Peggy’s Cove is a treasure! My family spent a blissful week at Tim’s place. This remote and peaceful space was well appointed and relaxing for my family of 5 (plus our fur baby) The sunrise and sunset were breathtaking… We enjoyed relaxing on the deck watching the seals swim, exploring the rocky shoreline, and cooking meals together. The hosts live next door and were and were very easy to communicate with if we had any questions. They even let us barrow their Kayak and invited us over for dinner. The caretaker Bryan was also very friendly and gave us a tour of the area, sharing the history of the cape. He even took my kids on his boat to fish and then smoked the mackerel they caught. I would highly recommend staying here…can’t wait to go back, would love to stay 2 weeks next time. I do recommend you do a big grocery shop before you arrive as it’s a 40 minute drive to any stores, plus once you get there you will not want to leave..

We had a late start and had not reviewed the check in docs. We had great response from Tim and his Father in Law in getting us to the house and in.
The views were exceptional. This view comes from an extended drive off the main road, but is a great reward.
Thanks

This place was spectacular! The view and peaceful location was remote and well off the grid. The road to access it was all gravel and a little rough in places but once you arrive you will want for nothing. We recommend you being in all the groceries you will need. However there is a grocery store in Sherbrooke about a 40 min drive. Internet is Starlink and is very good.
If you want to sit and relax for a week, watch porpoise, & seals off your deck and roam a few rocky sea side beaches this is the place for you. Note: If you are not mobile you will find it difficult to access the beaches they are not young child or small dog friendly. We had neither so we did enjoy them to the fullest. It was a stunning location and just what we wanted… a peaceful relaxing remote piece of Nova Scotia seaside. We would like to add the Bryan, Tim’s neighbour is on hand for any questions or needs or to share the local history should you be interested. We would book again without hesitation.

My Family LOVED the house and the view! It is one of the most peaceful vacations we have ever taken! Just what we needed! Tim was very responsive to messages. This place is truly a gem.

WOW
This place is a must see and stay. The pictures and reviews doesn’t do this place justice. Like I was blown away with the breathtaking scenery.
We had one day of sun and 7 of just Fog days but was still peaceful relaxing and exactly what we needed away from Toronto the city and lights.
Tim’s house was gorgeous and very clean. They have a guy that takes care of the place his name is Bryan and he was also extremely helpful and was there in 10 minutes if you needed. I grew up in CB Nova Scotia but this location is definitely where I would want to retire. We will definitely be renting here again in the near future 🙂
I would give this a 5* for sure
Thanks
